18 Jan One year Support & Encouragement Group – A Good Nights Rest!
Hi everyone, its Shane and Welcome to our Friday 18th January twenty nineteen one-year support & Encouragement Group. 18 Jan means prosperous day in Chinese. So I hope you all had exactly that.
Tonight were going to talk about SLEEP! After a long day dont we all just want a great night sleep.
Sleep is one of the most important needs that we must meet to maintain a peaceful, content and happy lifestyle.
Positive sleep affirmations are a great way to focus your mind on the sleep process and let go of the day.
There’s power in the words we choose, especially at bedtime. “I can’t sleep” is a common refrain, but one that “highlights what you don’t want,” Learning talk to yourself in a more mindful way can actually help you get more and better rest.
For those of you suffering from insomnia or having trouble sleeping, here is Louise’s affirmation to help you ease into a full night’s rest: “I lovingly release the day and slip into peaceful sleep, knowing tomorrow will take care of itself.”
Ending your day with prayer is also wonderful way to let go of stress and find peace before falling asleep. No matter what you faced today, talking to God through goodnight prayers will renew your faith. Evening prayer also helps you see all the good things that happened in your day that you have to be thankful for!
Bless us with rest tonight, God and a good night’s sleep. Forgive us for the things we did today that did not honor you. Thank you for loving us so much and that you know us through and through. We need your help every day, and we thank you for the strength you give and for helping us know that with you, even hard things are possible. Bless our family and our home, and keep us safe through the night. May your angels guard us and watch over us.
Thank you for your good plan for our lives. In Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
