08 Nov NEW LOVE, PEACE EQUALITY CHURCH OPENS IN BYRON BAY
MEDIA RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE USE
A new church is launching in Byron Bay this Summer. The Universal Church of Love, Peace and Equality is a new community that will open in December in Mercato on Byron Shopping Centre.
Byron is blessed with new Pastor Shane Reynolds. ‘Love is the most powerful force In the Universe to which one can aspire. We are here to help without regard to class, gender, or race. We are committed to equipping God’s people to learn the power of love and extending Christ’s kingdom in the Byron Shire and to the ends of the earth’.
Earlier this year Shane was nominated for a future in Ministry at the invitation of the Anglican Church. Struggling with the Archbishop of Sydney’s recent public comments concerning same sex marriage policy and views on the LGBTI community Shane incorporated a new church founded on the basis that all humanity are equal in the eyes of God’s unconditional love.
The church will officially open in December and offers to the community a Prayer / Learning Centre, Pastoral Care / Spiritual Support, Healing / Family & Support Services, Community Outreach / AA, NA Rehab Support, Counselling and employment initiatives and LGBTIQA+ Support Services.
Shane was inspired by Louise Hay an American motivational author and the founder of Hay House. Louise authored several New Thought self-help books, including the 1984 book, You Can Heal Your Life which sold over 50 million copies. Shane is a Licensed Heal Your Life Teacher authorised by Louise Hay to continue her teaching.
Shane is a published motivational author and through his journey of personal wellness and healing established Blessed Health Foods & The Atlantean Dolphin Healing Centre with Stores on the Gold Coast and Byron Bay. Shane serves on the boards of Prosperity House Community Centre and is the Australian Ambassador for the feedOM Guarantee a subsidiary of ‘Food for Life Global‘ a not-for-profit organisation that has delivered over 5 Billion meals and aid worldwide
